I am Dinkle
A counselling psychologist, depth practitioner &
the person behind Moon & Method.

I
I was in 8th grade when I decided to get into the field of psychology.
People always told me how good of a listener I am &
I remember being a deeply curious person all the time.
Ever since then psychology has given me a solid foundation to understand
why we are the way we are.
Yet there were moments where it couldn’t answer some questions that come up during our most vulnerable and honest moments.
Why me?
Why do I feel so much?
Why does something, after doing everything right,
still feel like not enough?
and many more.
Having done my BA & MSc in Psychology & Counselling
and been to therapy for years,
I could explain you my trauma, give you the threads of patterns formed by it,
see how it impacts my everyday life, seeps into the connection I wished to form with people...
and even myself.
Still something felt distant, as though I was studying my life more than living it.
It was not because science failed me.
It gave me a structure to work with & think in.
It was rather like some parts of me refused to go against their nature.
They refused to be fixed without even sharing what they have to say.
And in retrospect,
this was not always an active process,
it was slower, layered and familiar.
Almost started to feel like home...
but not quite homely.
I spent years trying to manage...
My sensitivity, make sense of my perceptions and not question the way the world works.
To become someone new entirely.
Or at least be less of me.

And then a sudden major life event rattled many things for me.
I took the decision to slow down and bring the change from inside out.
I look back now and see a 360 life pivot!
Much later after the above questions were answered,
Astrology came in my life.
Around my mid 20’s, being my curious self, over a casual phone call with a friend...
that lasted 6 hours to show something new I had discovered about it.
It did not give me answers.
Rather it showed me something that was already present.
Something deeper and felt... less explained.
The little gaps I had stored away that sometimes one study alone could not hold.
It acknowledged why those questions were there in the first place.
It gave a perspective beyond behaviour, circumstances and emotions.
I began forming a relationship with it too to ask better questions to myself with context.
Little did I know that it would be a part of my practice today.

In the same year I came across Shadow Work,
which turned out to be a whole world in itself.

It gave language to the parts of human experience that can often go unseen.
It showed me a way to meet the parts of myself I had spent years trying to outgrow, fix or move beyond.
It gave voice to something my inner world was asking for years.
I had simply been assuming what it needed.
The apology that was never received.
The hand that was never held.
The excitement that learned to stay quiet.
The tenderness hidden beneath survival.
We try our best to move beyond, transcend even.
And yet find ourselves somewhere still wanting it.
Somewhere along the way,
I stopped trying to become someone new..
and I began building a relationship with the person who had been there all along.
And with that, came something I had spent years searching for.
Not the absence of pain, not the absence of challenge…
but the ability to remain connected to myself through both.

It started to feel more like a place to come back to.
Silence stopped feeling like a void to fill.
There was less distance.
Slowly, something else began to shift too.
The connection with the body.
This did not happen overnight.
Not because the frameworks and tools magically did their thing.
It happened more so because,
I stopped leaving.
Underneath all of it,
the patterns,
the questions,
the parts that refused to budge…
was something larger than us
but not separate.
The beliefs we inherit...
before we are old enough to
recognise them.
The emotional realities...
of the surroundings we grow up in.
The ways we learned to be...
that quietly became the ways we live.
What emerged from this understanding was perspective,
and from it came compassion.
Not the kind that excuses or justifies,
the kind that recognises
how deeply human it is
to be shaped by the world we live in and participate daily.
And how courageous it is to look within.
None of this makes us broken, it makes us human.
And when we give it enough space,
it stops being the thing holding us back and
starts being the thing that finally makes sense.
These approaches together ultimately gave me access
to my own life,
& a greater capacity to be with myself with honesty, curiosity, and compassion.
It did not make me fearless.
It did not remove uncertainty, grief, longing or the complexities of daily life.
What it gave me was something far more certain than that.
A relationship with myself strong enough to hold all of those things.

The work was never about becoming less of who I was,
but to carry who I was with greater steadiness.
The qualities I spent years questioning,
today stand as the very foundations of the
space I hold for others.
Moon & Method has emerged from that.
Not just a philosophy but a lived reality too.
And this can look and feel entirely different for you.
Moon & Method is not here to decide what your life should look like.
But it is a space where
safety,
curiosity,
reflection,
and
presence is waiting.

Q. How long are the sessions? What is the investment?
These are 1:1 therapeutic sessions for 60 minutes each.
Per session investment shall be discussed over the call.
Q. How often do we meet?
Usually we meet once a week, however by therapist's discretion and/or mutual agreement it may occur twice a week.
Q. Are sessions online?
Moon & Method offers online services everywhere, and offline services are based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Details shall be discussed over the discovery call.
Q. Do you offer emergency interventions or psychiatric treatments/diagnosis?
No. This is not a substitute for that.
However, it shall be recommended if needed.
Q. How to schedule a session here?
Initially you are required to book the slot for our 15 mins video discovery call (free) and fill a quick form for the same via the 'book the discovery call' tab you must have seen.
We have a brief talk to-
1. Explore whether the work is the right fit for you
2. Answer any practical questions we have for each other
Once confirmed, we shall then schedule and confirm the weekly sessions via mutual preferences.
